We would like to pass along information from Pool Professionals (the pool management company we are using) sent this morning which outlines how they are planning to prepare for and address any results from Hermine…
“Pool Professionals is preparing for torrential rain and high winds for our Triangle and Coastal Areas of operation as Hurricane Hermine approaches. We expect that pools will be closed on Friday afternoon and all of our resources and manpower will be shifted to reopening our facilities when the storm passes. As part of our preparation, we are balancing and super chlorinating pools in preparation for power outages. We will remove umbrellas and trash cans from the deck and place them in the bathrooms or up against the buildings. We do not plan to remove furniture from the decks. We do expect a large amount of debris and water to enter the pool area. We are mobilizing to reopen all facilities as quickly as possible.
Our PRIORITY on Saturday evening and Sunday will be to have all pools open and operational as quickly as possible. If the storm’s track changes or conditions change, we will send an update.
We have based our preparedness on the information in (the most recent NOAA report). If specific situations arise with your pool, we will communicate directly with your community manager and board of directors.”
We hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend. Take care, and we look forward to seeing you at the pool.
